How will this Advance project help to address the need?
Reduction of the costs of feeding orphans and students at the boarding school, availability of farm produce at the mission and accessibility of farm produce by the community, independence of the community. By producing themselves their vegetables and crops to earn an income and reduce malnutrition.
Describe the primary goal of the project
Resume agricultural activities in Quessua, (vegetable production, field crop production and livestock keeping) to empower the community/families with sustainable methods of farming, hence to improve family health and nutrition. Increased income per livelihood, have demonstration fields and different projects from which the community will learn from. Food security for the mission and entire community.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
Availability of food or farm produce (vegetables and meat) thus good nutrition per capita, less malnutrition in children, food access for the orphanage and boarding school and for the community, more children attending school, better housing.
