How will this Advance project help to address the need?
The Global Ministries just identified an additional personnel to be the Coordinator of the English program, and together with the Vocational Skills coordinator, we hope to be able to carry on this 2016. We hope to be able to reach out to some young people, and at the same time be able to provide a Center for the community where a reasonable tuition fee would be collected to help with the project administration and program expenses.
Describe the primary goal of the project
The primary goal of the program is to be able to empower our youth and young adults through capacity-building as they learn language, and vocational skills proficiency that they may become productive members of their families, church and society.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
We hope to have the following changes: 1. More young people who could converse in English, and possibly be able to interpret for our guests from other countries during activities. 2. More young people who can participate and finish skills training that they can use, especially when it is not farming season. 3. More young people can help their families find some income.
