How will this Advance project help to address the need?
In order to achieve the vision and mission, CORP focuses on key areas for growth: education, medical relief, and vocational training. Through these programs, CORP wishes to attain the following goals: 1) To create an awareness of self worth. 2) To provide facilities for improving the conditions of life specifically for the poorer sections of society. 3) To stimulate self-reliance and self-development in the local community. 4) To encourage, train and enable local people to assume community responsibilities. 5) To encourage all segments of society irrespective of caste, creed, religion or economic situation to cooperate on long-term development.
Describe the primary goal of the project
CORP’s aim in running these full time shelters is to provide a home-like where the joys of childhood could be found. CORP believes it is every child’s right to nutrition, recreation and to participate in making decisions about their future. Through the shelter programs, CORP gives back a sense of hope, protection and childhood to India’s forgotten children.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
CORP with its long-standing association with people and genuine concern towards transformation in the lives of underprivileged children, and poor women sets an example of caring for the needy and catering to the least and the lost.
