Providing a Christian home to homeless children
Describe the need affecting community
The community lacks an honest, transparent, and accountable government leadership. They lack education, and qualified people that will attract businesses and industry to the country.
How will this Advance project help to address the need?
Haiti Children Project provides tuition and stipends along with personal support from our teams and mentors. The students are being guided to look beyond themselves, and to use their education to help develop Haiti into a country that could one day be self-sustaining.
Describe the primary goal of the project
The primary goal of HCP is to educate Haiti’s poorest young people to effect justice for everyone, through leadership.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
Micah 6:8 “To be fair and just and to walk humbly with God”. That they would have a sense of cooperation and community.
