Education is a basic right for all children around the world, yet in many parts of the West Bank children are not receiving a proper education, for those who do receive an education, one in five will not make it past the fifth grade. The lack of completing education, and not getting the high school certificate has an impact not only on the life’s of the children themselves, but the development and progress of entire community. The political, religious and social factors are playing a massive role in this issue. Poverty especially in the developed countries is a major factor that prioritized child labor; since education is not free in our country, parents prefer to send their children to government school, (with low standard of education) or send them to a vocational workshop to generates income for the family – even if low paid. Schools that provide quality education charge high school fees, but on the other hand maintain high school certificate that enables student improve their and their families future.
