Educating and training of both the laity and clergy as part of the capacity building program.
Describe the need affecting community
The need that is effecting the community is that: Majority of the Pastors did not go further with their education up to Secondary school level therefore there is a need to support them to improve their educational levels. The financial hiccup experienced by most of the Malawian families, our pastors are not an exception therefore the need to support their kids with school fees. We have also some pastors who had gone up to Secondary school therefore the need to solicit some funds to help them to upgrade their studies.
How will this Advance project help to address the need?
The available of funds will help to address all these needs and give room for in house laity and clergy trainings.
Describe the primary goal of the project
To educate each pastor to their full ability level as they pursue ordination in the hopes of reaching the goal of 25 ordained pastors in the Malawi Provisional Annual Conference.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
Improved capacity amongst the laity and clergy. A good number of Pastors should graduate.
