DRC Conflict
UMCOR has issued grants to local conferences to provide food, non-food supplies and hygiene products for the tens of thousands of people forced to flee their homes due to fighting in the country, including the city of Goma. Hurricane Debby
After making landfall in Florida on Aug. 5 and traveling up the U.S. coast, this storm brought historic amounts of rainfall and flooding. UMCOR has awarded a solidarity grant to the Florida, South Georgia and Upper New York conferences and is coordinating with disaster response ministries in other affected conferences.
Northwest U.S. Wildfires
UMCOR awarded a solidarity grant to the Pacific Northwest Conference to support initial response efforts to widespread wildfire in Washington and Idaho.
Philippines Severe Weather
UMCOR has awarded solidarity grants for emergency relief following the July 2024 Typhoon Carina, the Southwest Monsoon, and the Bataan oil spill.
Hurricane Beryl
