Southeastern U.S. Winter Storms
From late December 2023 through January 2024, several states in the Southeastern U.S. experienced severe storms with tornadoes that left paths of destruction through specific regions. Alabama-West Florida, Western North Carolina and South Carolina Conference disaster response ministries received grants to provide immediate support to people affected by the storms. Â
Congolese Migrant Support
Support for the Central Congo Annual Conference, which is working on a recovery program for Congolese expats returning from Angola who have resettled in Kananga. Distribution of agricultural tools, seeds, and materials to build shelters for 50 households, benefitting nearly 5,000 people.
