Global Ministries is the international mission, humanitarian relief and development organization of The United Methodist Church. We connect people inside and outside the church to spread God’s love and Christ’s caring presence throughout the world.
The mission of Global Ministries is to help the whole church participate in God’s mission. We answer God’s call to mission by sending missionaries, strengthening churches, providing humanitarian relief and improving community health.
Global Ministries brings United Methodist conferences, churches and members together to engage in God’s mission.
The vision of Global Ministries is a worldwide church that works together, following Christ’s example of mission and ministry.
Global Ministries lives its purpose and pursues its vision through four historic mission goals: making disciples of Jesus Christ; developing and renewing Christian congregations and communities; alleviating human suffering; and seeking justice, freedom and peace.
