You may be able to multiply your support through a company gift match or combined charitable campaign program. Check with your employer, or former employer if you are retired, to learn more. Be sure to provide them with either Global Ministries Tax ID 30-0989628 or UMCOR Tax ID 82-1449602.
If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make direct charitable gifts of up to $100,000 from traditional and Roth IRAs. These donations are free from federal income taxation, and often state taxation too, so you can support work that matters to you while lowering your tax burden.
