From mid to late July, the Philippines experienced back-to-back typhoons, leading to the deaths of at least 31 people and displacing millions. In response, UMCOR awarded solidarity grants to the Manila and Baguio episcopal areas of The United Methodist Church to support their immediate relief efforts, which include the distribution of essential supplies and food to those impacted.
