Philippines Earthquake

A strong earthquake hit the northern Philippines in late July. Many people were killed and injured, and nearly 50,000 were displaced. UMCOR awarded a solidarity grant to the Baguio Episcopal Area to support food, water, sanitation and hygiene as well as shelter and non-food items for vulnerable households.
Pakistan Flooding

Severe and widespread flooding killed thousands of people and left millions displaced, the worst natural disaster in Pakistan in decades. Working closely with partners in the region, UMCOR awarded two solidarity grants to help people meet basic needs with food and hygiene kits in Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh provinces.
