In mid-July, flooding and landslides caused by Typhoon Bavi and the enhanced southwest monsoon caused at least 15 deaths and impacted tens of thousands of people in the southern region of the country. UMCOR is coordinating with our Disaster Management Office in the Davao Episcopal Area, supporting them as they respond to the needs of those impacted.
