November 2025 | UMCOR awarded a recovery grant to the Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference that will ensure efficient resource management and equitable support for all survivors through disaster case management and program management that coordinates with government officials, private industry, Maryland VOAD partners, and local organizations.

In mid-May, severe flooding impacted Allegany and Garrett counties in Maryland, prompting multiple emergency rescues. In response, UMCOR awarded a solidarity grant to the Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference to support immediate relief efforts.
