Hawaii Storms and flooding

In mid-March, Hawaii was impacted by two major Kona Low storms that dropped more than 52 inches of rain over two weeks, resulting in hundreds of emergency rescues, thousands of power outages and evacuations, and millions of dollars in damages.

UMCOR supported the relief efforts of the California-Pacific Annual Conference through a solidarity grant, which provided support to evacuees in Oahu, the hardest-hit island.
