November 2025 | As survivors continue to recover, UMCOR is continuing our support of the Rio Texas Annual Conference’s response efforts through a long-term recovery grant. The funds will establish Rio Texas’s Disaster Recovery program, which will support the flood-impacted communities and address their long-term needs.

July 2025 | In early July of 2025, people in the Hill Country region of Texas experienced catastrophic flooding along the Guadalupe River, causing the deaths of at least 139 people. In response, UMCOR has awarded a solidarity grant to support the Río Texas Annual Conference, which will provide immediate relief to those impacted through Early Response Team deployment assistance, debris removal, distribution of relief supplies and more, primarily after search and rescue operations have been completed.
