Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene has devastated parts of the southeastern U.S., bringing catastrophic wind, rain and flash flooding. UMCOR is coordinating with affected conferences and supporting their initial relief efforts.

Conflict in DRC

Fighting in the Democratic Republic of Congo has created a humanitarian crisis culminating in Goma and surrounding areas. UMCOR has issued grants to local conferences for displaced people in the East Congo and North Katanga episcopal areas.

Typhoon Carina and Southwest Monsoon

UMCOR has awarded solidarity grants for emergency relief following the July 2024 Typhoon Carina, the Southwest Monsoon, and the Bataan oil spill.
