In mid-February, extreme rainfall hit the Southeastern U.S., impacting millions and leading to the deaths of nine people. In response, UMCOR awarded solidarity grants to the West Virginia and Holston annual conferences, facilitated the mobilization of Early Response Teams in the West Virginia, Tennessee-Western Kentucky, Central Appalachian Missionary, and Kentucky annual conferences, and distributed relief supplies from the UMCOR Sager Brown Depot.
