The Global Mission Fellows program takes young adults ages 20-30 out of their home environments and places them in new contexts for mission experience and service. The program has a strong emphasis on faith and justice. Global Mission Fellows become active parts of their new local communities. They connect the church in mission across cultural and geographical boundaries. They grow in personal and social holiness and become strong young leaders working to build just communities in a peaceful world.

An is from East Asia, where she is a member of Xinen Church. She has worked in the tourism industry and held a variety of student jobs. When she entered mission service, she was living in Nanjing while completing work on a Bachelor of Theology degree at the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Nanjing Agricultural University. An has worked in the tourism industry and held a variety of student jobs.
An calls herself a “witness to God” because she knows firsthand God’s grace in her life and that of her family. Her call to mission relates to her hope “that more people will come to know and believe in God.”

“While I have only been a student in theology and have limited practice in mission,” she says, “Global Mission Fellows is a good platform to provide opportunities to learn, practice and … help more people in need.”
