Youth Ministries in Kenya

Project Information
Training youth on the dangers of drug abuse and leadership skills to be deep rooted in Gods work.
Describe the need affecting community
How will this Advance project help to address the need?
Greater awareness having been created, youth will have learned the risks of alcohol and drug abuse as early as possible and avoid entering into the problem. The project will train the youth and children through seminars, workshops, rallies, sport events. Which will equip the youth with the required information to make them avoid alcohol and drug abuse. Intensive campaigns will be done through Methodist churches gatherings and organized training programs targeting the youth. This project greatly helps in producing well trained youth leaders specifically to deal with youth ministry. Once trained they will assist in improving youth programs as well as developing new ones. Its eventually expected that among the trained youth leaders, will emerge trainers of trainers (TOT) who will ensure the continuity of the project by constantly training others to become youth leaders.
Describe the primary goal of the project
The project seeks to educate the youth on the dangers or risk of alcohol and drug abuse and train them on leadership skills, so as to have youth with deep rooted faith for the well being of the church in both the present and the future generations.
