Providing an optimal place for the transformation of lives through Christian camps and similar spiritual growth opportunities.
Describe the need affecting community
Over the years we have found that the camping ministry is one of the most effective means of disciplining children and youth. Additionally, our Methodist school in Panama City has as one of its pillars the Christian Formation Department which conducts spiritual life retreats for students throughout the school year. Both programs need a site conducive to these activities and the camp currently under construction was designed to provide an optimal space for these ministries. The construction of the kitchen/dining hall will enable us to put the camp into operation.

The Camping Ministry aims to play a vital role in the discipleship of our children and youth, transforming lives for service to God and neighbor.
Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project
We would like to see the children and youth develop a strong relationship with Jesus Christ in such a way that their transformed lives are a testimony to God’s love.
